Registered Principal Pharmacist – Pharmacy Operations & Planning Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a fully registered Principal Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations and planning across inpatient, outpatient and long‑term care settings. The role combines clinical oversight with operational management to ensure safe, efficient medication delivery and a high‑quality patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate processing, verification and supply of medication orders for all service lines.
• Manage discharge medication workflows to minimise delays and improve patient satisfaction.
• Design, implement and continuously improve operational workflows, reducing errors and enhancing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain staff rosters, monitor workload distribution and adjust staffing as needed.
• Mentor and supervise pharmacy staff, coordinate training for new hires and ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with nursing teams to optimise medication administration processes and safety initiatives.
• Ensure adequate medication stock levels and oversee the use of automated dispensing cabinets (ADC) and other pharmacy systems.
• Investigate medication‑related incidents, implement corrective actions and lead regular team meetings.
• Drive patient‑centred initiatives such as education programmes and feedback handling.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Pharmacy with full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail when handling large volumes of information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑directed learner with a passion for continuous improvement and automation.
• Team‑player attitude, positive mindset and willingness to take on start‑up challenges.
