Remote Tax Consultant – Contract (US Tax Law)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join a leading finance organization on a remote contract basis. The role focuses on applying your expertise in U.S. federal and state tax statutes to help train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring high‑quality, real‑world input for finance‑focused models.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to support regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, covering federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear, concise feedback.
• Strong logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
