Repair Technician – Aircraft Component Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Repair Technician to join Satair’s component maintenance team. The role involves inspecting, testing, repairing and modifying aircraft components to meet OEM standards and ensure airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑range repair, overhaul and modification tasks on assigned components under supervision.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with manufacturer directives and approved data.
• Conduct troubleshooting, functional testing and operational checks on aircraft parts.
• Participate in product audits, hazard assessments and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, OEMs and internal management to resolve technical issues.
• Manage material requisitions and maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.

Required profile

• Diploma in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Avionics Engineering (preferred).
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical or avionics engineering.
• Computer literate with ability to learn new software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and intercultural awareness.
• Commitment to compliance, safety and Satair’s values.

Required skills

• SAP and database usage.
• Aircraft component inspection, testing and repair.
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Use of standard aerospace tools and equipment.
