Research Assistant – Statistical Learning of Time-Series Models

About the role
We are looking for a Research Assistant to support a project on statistical learning of time-series models at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of algorithms for correlated VAR time-series models.
- Develop a Python codebase and run large-scale simulations on synthetic and real data sets.
- Prepare reports or articles aiming for publication in machine-learning journals or conferences.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
- Strong background in probability and statistics demonstrated through coursework.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Python programming.
