Research Associate – AI for Quantitative Trading

About the role
The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Associate to advance AI-driven quantitative trading and financial investment research.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct literature review and research on AI applications for quantitative trading and financial investment.
- Develop new AI solutions to identify optimal trading strategies.
- Design and run experiments to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed solutions.
- Analyze data collected from field surveys and perform comparative assessments.
- Author research papers to communicate findings.
Required profile
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience and knowledge in finance.
- Strong expertise in computer programming.
- Good knowledge of software engineering (a plus).
- Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research.
