About the role
The Research Associate / Project Officer will support the development of a novel rehabilitation robot by bridging technical and commercial requirements. Working within the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS), you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate research concepts into viable, market‑ready solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, tracking, and executing project activities.
- Establish effective communication channels to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and stakeholder needs.
- Gather and analyse feedback to refine project objectives and deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in organising demonstrations, seminars, and engagement activities.
Required profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management or Engineering.
- Experience interacting with external stakeholders for collaboration development.
- Industrial experience is highly desirable.
- Exposure to medical or rehabilitation technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and ownership.
