About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Fellow to lead innovative work in biomedical manufacturing. The role involves designing, fabricating, and characterising advanced biomaterials and bio‑fabricated systems, with a focus on translating manufacturing strategies into healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute scientific experiments to test research hypotheses.
- Analyse results, document findings, and provide regular project updates.
- Contribute to academic publications, project reports and conference presentations.
- Mentor junior research staff as well as graduate and undergraduate students.
Required profile
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge and experimental skills in cell biology.
- Strong expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good track record of scholarly publications.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills for research work.
