Research Fellow – Healthy Aging (Translational Bat Immunology)

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at NTU is seeking a motivated Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join its Centre for Geroscience and Geromedicine. The role focuses on translational bat immunology and aging research, aiming to develop bat‑inspired strategies for human health.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, document and report experimental results and research findings accurately.
• Drive research projects through data analysis and comprehensive literature reviews.
• Evaluate and interpret data, preparing oral presentations, written reports and scientific manuscripts for publication.
• Contribute to project management, including supervision of students and conducting laboratory demonstrations.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Veterinary Science or a related field.
• Prior experience with animal work, tissue processing or histology, and/or AI/bioinformatic analysis is highly preferred.
• Experience in immunology or aging research is advantageous but not mandatory for candidates with a strong academic or research record.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities and proficiency with computers.
• Team‑player capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
