About the role
The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at NTU is looking for a Research Fellow to advance MOF-based electrochemical and CO2 removal research. The school covers interdisciplinary research in areas such as computational materials science, characterisation, composites, nanomaterials, biomaterials and sustainable materials.
Key responsibilities
- Electrochemical processes and interface phenomena
- MOF synthesis and testing under different conditions
- Simulation of scaled-up processes
- Interface with the machine learning group on database setup
- CO2 removal process
Required profile
- Strong background in materials chemistry or physical chemistry
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science or Physics
- Experience with MOF synthesis, energy storage systems or electrochemical systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Candidates with strong publication or patent records are preferred
Required skills
- Preferred: experience in machine learning
- Preferred: experience initiating MOF development, devising and analytical processes
