Resident Physician / Staff Registrar (Multiple Specialties)

About the role

CGH is seeking qualified medical professionals to join its diverse departments as Resident Physicians or Staff Registrars. The position offers exposure to a wide range of specialties, allowing you to develop clinical expertise while delivering high‑quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily ward duties and conduct clinic sessions across assigned specialties.
• Assist in operating procedures for surgical candidates, providing intra‑operative support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Rostered for residential night calls and manage emergency situations.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree or postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑housemanship experience.
• Meet all criteria set by the SMC for Conditional Medical Registration for foreign applicants.
• Hold a valid medical licence to practice in Singapore.
• English language proficiency if the degree was not taught in English.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and patient management.
