Retail Operations Manager

About the role

The Retail Operations Manager will lead the operational excellence of our stores across Singapore. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to implement new processes, drive efficiency, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with retail management and stakeholders to implement and monitor new processes and procedures.
• Assess, align, and streamline workflows that impact operational performance.
• Challenge existing processes to achieve optimal operational results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve store‑level issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Visual Merchandising teams.
• Manage the Academy Stores programme to deliver best‑practice training.
• Oversee store communications tools and processes.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of all stores and equipment.
• Serve as the definitive source for store‑related enquiries and information requests.
• Collect market intelligence on competitors and innovators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail store operations, preferably in mass apparel.
• Experience in area management is a plus.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and embed policies and best practices.
• Experience conducting store visits and gathering operational feedback.
• Strong collaboration with procurement to manage external supplier tenders.
