Sales & Leasing Executive - Forklifts & Material Handling

About the role

A well-established provider of material handling solutions is hiring a Sales & Leasing Executive in Singapore. This is a field-based business development role focused on securing forklift leasing and rental contracts for the industrial sector. The split is about 80% new business and 20% account management. Candidates receive a company vehicle, comprehensive product training and a clear path to build a sales career.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect by visiting industrial estates and engaging potential clients to generate leads and secure leasing and rental agreements for forklift equipment.
• Understand customers' operational needs, run live equipment demonstrations and test drives, and present the right solution.
• Negotiate and finalise contracts, including trade-in and hire-purchase arrangements, using consultative techniques.
• Follow up enquiries, schedule appointments, coordinate pre-delivery inspections and complete all documentation through handover.
• Liaise with aftersales and technical support teams to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Plan your own schedule and manage daily routes and appointments across Singapore.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC or GCE O-Level qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; retail, customer service or other client-facing backgrounds are an advantage, and no prior industrial sales experience is required.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence, as driving is part of the daily role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
