Sales Manager - Data Centre Power Products

About the role

A client of Recruitment Alliance is looking for a Sales Manager to grow its business in the data centre industry across Southeast Asia. The role suits someone with a solid technical background (electrical or mechanical engineering), strong sales experience and the ability to travel often.

Key responsibilities

• Help forecast budgets and set sales targets for the Southeast Asia data centre market
• Reach out to potential customers and decision-makers to find new business
• Work with the sales team to track and move deals forward, keeping sales information updated in the system
• Close deals with local and global teams, creating strong sales pitches and winning key accounts
• Build long-term partnerships with customers, contractors and influencers, directly or through partners and distributors
• Support distributors with pricing, strategy and guidance to win projects
• Provide basic marketing and technical support to partners and dealers, analyse sales and market trends, and stay up to date on data centre power products and systems
• Travel up to 60% of the time for meetings, events and customer visits

Required profile

• Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering
• At least 5 years of sales experience, especially in the data centre business
