Scientist – Skin Diseases & Inflammation

About the role

We are looking for a scientist to join our multidisciplinary team focused on therapeutic development for inflammatory skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis. The role involves translational research from mechanistic discovery to therapeutic evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct translational research targeting dysregulated inflammatory pathways and skin barrier defects.
• Develop and use mouse models, mammalian cell cultures, and molecular biology techniques to assess therapeutic efficacy and mechanism of action.
• Design, execute, and optimise experiments, troubleshoot protocols and improve laboratory workflows.
• Analyse data, interpret results and prepare scientific reports, presentations and manuscript drafts.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across disciplines.

Required profile

• PhD in Biology, Biological Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Experience in therapeutic development and pre‑clinical evaluation of candidate therapeutics.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing projects to meet timelines.
