Security Officer

About the role

Pullman Singapore Hill Street, a 350-room hotel by the Accor group, is looking for a Security Officer. The officer is responsible for the safety and security of the premises and its occupants, working a 5-day week with duty meals provided.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the premises regularly to ensure the safety of guests
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to suspicious activities or incidents
• Perform security checks on all incoming and outgoing persons and vehicles
• Perform access control duties, including checking identification and issuing passes to authorised personnel
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Attend fire and safety training courses as needed

Required profile

• Completed Basic Security Course (BSC)
• Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, patrol and respond to emergencies
• Able to work independently and in a team, and to stay calm and react quickly
