Senior Assistant Director (Cash Management & Payments)

About the role

You will join AGD’s Cash Management & Payments (CMP) Branch within the Financial Reporting & Systems Group. The branch manages central finance operations, including e‑invoice and payment processes between the Government and its vendors, as well as liquidity management for Statutory Boards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the team handling liquidity‑related activities such as projections, funds transfers, and deposit placements.
• Oversee financial system modules related to liquidity management operations.
• Conduct policy and process reviews, drive system enhancements, and engage stakeholders.
• Execute projects that optimise returns on deposits for participating Statutory Boards.
• Provide user support and respond to queries from agencies participating in the liquidity management initiative.
• Lead periodic reviews of liquidity management frameworks and policies.
• Participate in ad‑hoc system enhancements and cross‑functional projects supporting CMP work.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance or related disciplines.
• Experience managing a small team (preferred).
• Knowledge of liquidity management (preferred, not mandatory).
• Meticulous with strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal strengths.
