Senior Associate – Information Systems Operations Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Information Systems Operations Management. You will ensure that IT systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with business needs while supporting global eye‑health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor IT system performance and recommend optimization improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain business continuity.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to align systems with requirements.
• Assist in designing and implementing system enhancements and operational strategies.
• Make day‑to‑day operational decisions and recommend improvements under senior guidance.
• Ensure adherence to infrastructure standards, global policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage capacity, incident, problem, change, patch, and lifecycle processes.
• Own and maintain IT operational procedures and support crisis management for high‑priority incidents.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including project, service, vendor, and financial management.
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., manufacturing) is an advantage.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of IT strategy, architectural standards, virtual environments, and network segmentation/security (ISO 27001).
• Practical expertise in Service Level Management.
