Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its team in the Paya Lebar Quarter. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with renewal potential up to 36 months.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and analysis across complex or cross-system initiatives, turning business needs and user insights into problem statements, process models, user stories, functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work with business owners, product teams, solution architects, engineers and vendors to assess feasibility and shape secure, scalable solutions across cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, data and automation.
• Own requirements traceability and run backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution walkthroughs and stakeholder decision-making.
• Plan and coordinate functional, integration, regression, performance, security and user acceptance testing, and manage defects through resolution.
• Assess operational readiness, support deployment and transition, and coordinate post-production stabilisation and issue resolution.
• Guide other analysts and handle structured handover and knowledge transfer from incumbent officers.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience.
• Proven record of collecting and synthesising data to derive actionable insights.
• End-to-end experience working with product teams to build products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Computer science or product management-related degree or diploma is a plus.
• Availability for planned deployments and severity incident support outside office hours, as necessary.
