Senior Business Analyst - SAP Support

About the role

Micron is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to develop and support SAP functionality in the business, primarily in production planning (PP) and/or sales and distribution (SD). The role provides level 1 SAP support to business users and works closely with local and corporate SAP analysts, with a strong emphasis on systems analysis, design and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide level 1 SAP support to business users, resolving functional issues and system-related queries promptly.
• Participate in systems and integration design, analysis and testing.
• Work with local and corporate SAP analysts on issue identification and resolution.
• Assist in developing business requirement specifications.
• Work with IT GAT / IT Ops to identify reported system issues.
• Confer with internal staff and organizational units to analyse current processes, identify problems and understand requirements such as data input formats, data summarisation and report formats.
• Analyse information problems and requested changes to develop business process solutions in a test environment.
• Use Agentic AI tools and platforms to automate business UAT and test scenario scripting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of overall experience desired.
• Significant depth of expertise and a track record of accomplishments in IT functional areas.
• Strong preference for someone from a systems development organization with significant exposure to SAP (ECC/S4) and MES integration.
• Experience using Agentic AI tools is a must.
• Willingness to support occasional business travel for projects and business initiatives.

Required skills

• SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a must.
• Expertise in PP, SD or logistics modules.
• Agentic AI tools for automation of UAT and test scenarios.
