Senior Cost Manager – Large‑Scale Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cost Manager to provide client‑side commercial and quantity surveying expertise on a large‑scale design‑and‑build infrastructure project. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from pre‑contract tendering through post‑contract cost control and final account closure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quantity surveying services including contract administration, procurement and claim management for all contractors.
• Monitor and control project cash flow to ensure effective cost management.
• During pre‑contract stage, evaluate bidders, issue RFQs, prepare tender packages and manage the full tender process (briefings, clarifications, interviews, evaluation and award).
• During post‑contract stage, supervise contractor claims, issue and certify project and contractor claims.
• Manage post‑contract cost control, prepare variation orders and review and issue final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Solid experience in quantity surveying and cost management, preferably on design‑and‑build (turnkey) projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement and claim management processes.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is a plus; experience in related sectors such as data centres is also considered.
