Senior Director, Capital Markets Research – APAC

About the role

JLL is looking for a dynamic Senior Director to lead Capital Markets Research across the APAC region. This senior leadership position combines deep market expertise with client engagement, media representation, and team oversight, shaping JLL’s research agenda in one of the world’s most complex real‑estate investment markets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and align research programs and networks locally, regionally and globally.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and develop proprietary house views on APAC investment markets across direct, indirect, debt, equity and alternative asset classes.
• Engage senior internal and external stakeholders to maximize research opportunities and support deal‑related research.
• Lead deep transactional research across living sectors, life sciences, healthcare, data centres, infrastructure, renewable energy and other new‑economy verticals.
• Supervise research analysts and specialists, manage transaction databases and feed global workstreams.
• Produce thought‑leadership content, visual narratives, presentations, reports and executive summaries.

Required profile

• 10+ years of client‑facing experience in capital markets with substantial real‑estate exposure.
• Proven track record managing client relationships and delivering high‑impact consulting projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting impactful messaging and presentations.
• Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
