Senior Enrolled Nurse (3‑shift rotation)

About the role

This position is for a Senior Enrolled Nurse who will work within a hospital setting in Singapore, supporting Registered Nurses (RNs) across admission, transfer, discharge and ongoing patient care. The role requires adherence to Singapore Nursing Board standards and organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist RNs with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Observe, monitor and report patient conditions, escalating any unusual findings.
• Prepare trolleys and equipment for procedures such as blood cultures, CVP/PICC insertions, lumbar punctures and intra‑pleural drains.
• Provide peri‑operative care, including pre‑operative preparation and patient transport to and from operating theatres.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, rescue ventilation with a bag‑valve‑mask, and external cardiac massage.
• Support patients with activities of daily living – bathing, feeding, toileting, skin care, mobilisation and transport.
• Maintain a safe environment through quality assurance and risk management practices.
• Update patient records using basic computer systems and manage sterile (CSSD) items.
• Participate in continuing professional development, quality improvement projects and any additional duties assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Required profile

• Recognised Enrolled Nurse Certificate approved by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Licensed Enrolled Nurse with accountability for delegated activities.
• Willingness and ability to work three rotating shifts.
• Commitment to professional standards, patient safety and cultural respect.
