Senior Executive, Curriculum (LKCMedicine)

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU Novena Campus trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their care, offering both undergraduate and graduate programmes. The Senior Executive, Curriculum works closely with the School Leads, other teams in the department and the education offices of healthcare training institutions to ensure seamless coordination of curriculum delivery on campus and in clinical posting training sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistical and administrative support for Year 3 Enhanced Campus Based Learning (ECBL) weeks, the Year 3 Campus Teaching Week and Wrap-up Week for Medicine, Surgery and Short Postings clinical blocks.
• Coordinate simulation-based learning by working with session Leads to finalise simulated patient scenarios, recruit participants and deliver supporting arrangements to a high standard.
• Collaborate with Leads, the Office of Medical Education and the Science & Anatomy Laboratories teams so that learning spaces, equipment and resources are ready before each session.
• Develop and deploy curriculum resources by coordinating, quality-checking, formatting and publishing materials across digital learning platforms with content experts.
• Coordinate clinical education placements and postings by partnering with hospital Education Offices to plan Medicine and Surgery clinical postings aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Administer the digital curriculum by creating and maintaining learning events in Elentra throughout the academic year, including attendance-taking activities.
• Arrange logistics for integrated and combined teaching sessions in clinical postings, and oversee room booking for teaching spaces in the Eco Book.
• Assist in events organised by the team and department.

Required profile

• A good university degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in the education and/or healthcare sector is preferred.
• Experience in scheduling/timetabling is an advantage.

• Able to work independently under time pressure and changing priorities, and to multi-task across several projects.
