Senior IP Security Engineer - Assembly and Test

About the role

Micron is hiring an Assembly and Test (AT) Senior IP Security Engineer to join its AT BISO (Business Information Security Officer) organization. Working with Enterprise Infrastructure and Security (EIS) and the Assembly and Test business area, you will implement security controls, reduce risk and maintain business continuity. You will identify risks, help classify data, set up processes aligned with Micron's security disciplines and act as an ambassador protecting Micron's intellectual property.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the EIS team and the AT business to support roadmaps, strategies and requirements that improve security policies
• Help define goals and initiatives aligned with Micron's 7 Security Disciplines
• Secure sensitive data through classification and inventory, and help define and implement the Entitlement Policy Management System (EPMS)
• Drive access management based on need-to-know, supporting the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) program
• Contribute to physical security programs such as Global Product Scrap and SIG Equipment Scrap
• Drive vendor risk management, ensure third-party communication through approved channels and enforce visitor/hosting compliance
• Promote the Human Firewall through phishing awareness campaigns, newsletters and roadshows
• Manage access and exception requests, and create metrics, dashboards and the AT BISO SharePoint and Confluence pages
• Support leadership communications and meetings, and develop AI-assisted solutions to improve BISO operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or an equivalent cybersecurity qualification
• 3-5 years in the semiconductor industry, preferably with information security, cyber security, risk management or data governance exposure
• Familiarity with semiconductor assembly and test processes is essential
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or PMP are preferred
• Strong program management, change management, stakeholder management and communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams
