Senior Manager, Commanding Officer

About the role

Certis is seeking a Senior Manager, Commanding Officer to lead a large team of uniformed officers in delivering secure, reliable services. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction across high‑volume, regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise up to 300 uniformed officers, fostering discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate manpower deployment in partnership with unit management.
• Act as the incident focal point, managing reports, escalations and follow‑ups.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, MOM and PLRD regulations, conducting site checks and security surveys.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, track KPIs, safety compliance and conduct risk assessments.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, terminal operators, government authorities and regulators.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a command, security or operations role within a high‑volume or regulated setting.
• Strong knowledge of manpower deployment regulations (MOM & PLRD), security protocols and access control procedures.
• Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving and crisis‑management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
