Senior Manufacturing Engineering Assistant

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Assistant in Singapore, working with design engineering to coordinate the release of new products. The role reports to the Production Manager based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements for all products.
• Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
• Solve manufacturing process problems to keep production flowing smoothly.
• Improve processes using lean techniques and engineering principles, and identify cost reductions and productivity gains.
• Research, develop and document manufacturing processes, and load BOMs and maintain routines in the ERP system.
• Plan new production lines, including material flow patterns, and support seamless transfer of products between facilities.
• Ensure engineering change notices are implemented smoothly and pursue product design changes that improve manufacturability.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or another engineering discipline.
• Preferred: at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• AutoCAD software.
• SQL, Power BI or AI-related experience preferred.
