Senior Principal Pharmacist – Strategic Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Principal Pharmacist to lead strategic procurement and drug evaluation initiatives for Singapore’s public healthcare supply chain. The role will work on‑site at ALPS, collaborating with government agencies and healthcare professionals to shape national pharmacy policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities and chair drug evaluation meetings with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Identify new team roles, drive projects to review and revise SOPs and policies, and improve operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) to develop and implement national procurement policies and plans.
• Administer and facilitate procurement programmes and related projects across the public healthcare network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional practice experience.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication, organisational and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
