Senior Product Owner, SMAI

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc. is hiring a Senior Product Owner for its Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence (SMAI) organization in Singapore. The team defines, drives and delivers end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, applying automation, AI and machine learning to improve product development, business and administrative processes. The role reports to the SMAI organization.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose current Yield Analysis solutions and ways of working, and identify gaps and areas for improvement
• Work with Industry 4.0 solution end users to define requirements and analyse information on adopting Industry 4.0 and a Yield Management System for smart manufacturing
• Optimize and standardize tools and processes, using central team business partners so solutions scale sustainably across sites
• Develop business cases, validate impacts, assess ROI and prioritize and propose projects for implementation
• Lead projects requiring coordination of global development and support teams, working with Solution Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers
• Provide expert functional and process guidance on system interfaces and capabilities
• Use metrics and performance data to find improvement opportunities, and integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work while complying with organizational standards and legal requirements

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in Assembly/Test Process Engineering or similar operations functions
• Familiarity with Yield Management processes, systems and solutions for high-volume, high-mix production environments
• Proven ability to lead and present to small and large groups, and to work multi-functionally with peers and management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with flexibility to changing business needs

• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy, applied responsibly to research, analysis, content creation, problem solving and operational tasks
• Ability to identify, test and share AI-enabled improvements within one's scope of work
