Senior Quality Assurance Manager - Supplier Quality

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager in Singapore to lead supplier quality. The role sets up supplier quality KPIs, drives suppliers to meet Renesas expectations, audits contract manufacturers' production lines and quality systems against VDA 6.3 standards, and implements quality improvement methods.

Key responsibilities

• Set up supplier quality KPIs and drive suppliers to meet Renesas expectations.
• Audit and evaluate contract manufacturers' production lines and quality systems for product readiness and VDA 6.3 compliance.
• Identify opportunities for quality control improvement and implement new methods.
• Manage quality excursions, drive effective root cause solutions and preventive actions.
• Support supplier process and material change processes and site certification audit activities.
• Assist suppliers in creating, establishing and installing best-known practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams so quality events or unit returns do not affect customer requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement toward better quality, cost and cycle time.
• Host MRB meetings with cross-functional teams to finalise product disposition.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a foundry PIE/module or quality function team.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Bonus points: ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 certification and VDA 6.3 training evidence.
• Familiarity with BCD or JETFET processes.
