Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead pre‑ and post‑contract quantity surveying activities for construction projects in Singapore. You will be responsible for cost control, tender preparation and supplier negotiations to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), take‑off quantities, tender submissions and quotations.
• Source, compare and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage variation orders, progress claims, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
• Liaise with construction, design, contracts and tender teams on RFQs and project matters.
• Track project cost changes and update budget projections accordingly.
• Review drawings, costing and monthly claims to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore SMM rules and PSSCOC contract requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
• Proficient computer skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Tendering experience is advantageous.
