Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Global Supply Chain Planning – Senior Specialist is the primary contact for integrated supply planning of a defined portfolio of product families and external nodes. Reporting to the Global Supply Planning Franchise lead, the role ensures that API, bulk, semi‑finished and finished goods are supplied to customers and patients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end planning for an assigned global portfolio, covering manufacturing and packaging sites.
• Generate accurate demand and supply requirements across all supply‑chain nodes.
• Develop and evaluate scenarios to prevent or resolve supply constraints up to a 36‑month horizon.
• Manage exceptions, global events, and escalations using the SCEM tool and tier‑based communication.
• Oversee order management, master‑data maintenance, and inventory health metrics (DOC, IQV, out‑of‑stock).
• Collaborate with product leads, value‑chain managers, site planners, and demand‑fulfillment teams on new product launches, network transfers, and portfolio optimization.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of integrated business planning (IBP) and supply‑chain governance.
• Ability to make independent decisions in high‑complexity environments.
• Strong communication skills and senior‑level presence within the planning organization.
