Senior Staff Nurse II – Dialysis Clinic

About the role

The Senior Staff Nurse II will support the Nurse Manager and act as deputy in their absence, leading the Dialysis Clinic to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient, cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑, intra‑ and post‑dialysis patient assessments and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Review blood test results and promptly report abnormalities to the Medical Director.
• Educate patients on diet, fluid intake, medication, and blood pressure management.
• Monitor and maintain the water treatment system and dialysis fluids to guarantee safe therapies.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff, reporting equipment defects as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and EuClid Clinical Information system, adhering to privacy policies.
• Support professional development of clinic staff and collaborate with healthcare and allied professionals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS).
• Experience using the EuClid Clinical Information system.
• Knowledge of haemodialysis procedures and water treatment monitoring.
