Senior Staff Product Engineer - NPI Silicon Bring Up

About the role

Marvell's team supports the Networking, Switch and Processor business units, developing multi-terabit Ethernet technologies from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to mass production. This Senior Staff Product Engineer role is responsible for the initial phase of silicon bring up, working with the NPI Product and Test team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Test, Foundry, Reliability, Engineering) to drive NPI development.
• Analyze yield at the engineering sample phase and characterize NPI product performance and the manufacturing yield window.
• Perform data and statistical analysis on wafer sort and final test.
• Support test engineering in resolving test program-related issues.
• Plan and drive data analysis, debugging, root-cause analysis and solution implementation to improve yield and test time, meeting mass production release goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a related field; M.S. preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and device physics.
• Statistically literate, self-directed and able to manage complex projects, working both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of yield analysis, quality management tools, GR&R, Cp and Cpk.
• Hands-on test development and debug skills.
• Working knowledge of Auto Test Equipment (ATE), Advantest 93K, UltraFlex, test handlers and wafer probers is a plus.
