Services Business Development Manager (Commercial Accounts) - Hybrid

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Services Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Commercial and Mid-Market segment. This is a pure hunter role focused on identifying, developing and closing new services opportunities and expanding wallet share within assigned accounts. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new services opportunities in Commercial and Mid-Market accounts.
• Develop and run account penetration strategies to generate net-new services revenue.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events and partner engagement.
• Lead customer conversations around business outcomes, operational efficiency, cost optimization, security and digital transformation.
• Sell professional services, managed services, infrastructure services, cloud services, security services and new maintenance and support services.
• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
• Drive cross-selling and up-selling across existing commercial accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Typically 3-5 years of enterprise or commercial B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling IT services, professional services, managed services or technology consulting services.
• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, security and managed services.
• Hunter mindset, business planning, relationship management and strong communication skills.
