Social Media & Content Manager

About the role

The Corporate Communications Office at NTU is seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to amplify the university’s research, academic achievements and innovation through its owned social platforms. You will shape the voice of NTU across LinkedIn and other channels, turning complex research stories into engaging digital content.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop content opportunities from NTU’s research, publications and academic milestones for social media amplification, especially on LinkedIn.
• Write and edit posts for multiple platforms, tailoring tone and style to diverse audiences.
• Manage end‑to‑end content operations: scheduling, publishing, community engagement and performance reporting.
• Apply platform best practices – format, tagging, hashtags – to maximise reach and discoverability.
• Track, analyse and report on content performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
• Identify high‑performing assets for further organic or paid amplification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in content creation, digital communications or journalism.
• Proven ability to write for varied seniority levels and subject matters with appropriate tone.
• Experience managing corporate or executive social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn.
• Comfort with social media analytics and data‑driven decision making.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when working with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple content streams.
