About the role

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of gas delivery systems within its semiconductor fab operations. The role combines technical expertise with safety leadership to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant gas infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain gas delivery systems for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Respond to system deviations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards; support HAZOP and risk assessments.
• Lead engineering activities for gas‑related projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning.
• Analyze gas system performance using scientific and statistical tools and prepare technical documentation.
• Provide guidance to technicians and junior engineers and promote best engineering practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency, system reliability, and environmental performance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor technical staff.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and sustainability.
