Staff Nurse – Renal Hemodialysis

About the role

The Staff Nurse will join our renal hemodialysis team to deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis. You will provide holistic support, address emotional and physical concerns, and contribute to patient education and record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑, intra‑ and post‑dialysis clinical assessments and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Review blood test results and promptly report abnormalities to the Medical Director.
• Educate patients on diet, fluid intake, medication, and blood pressure management.
• Motivate patients to adapt to chronic hemodialysis and monitor the water‑treatment system for safe therapy delivery.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and report any defects.
• Accurately document patient information in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and EuClid Clinical Information System.
• Support the Clinic Nurse Manager with administrative tasks and ad‑hoc projects.
• Participate in quality‑improvement activities by reporting incidents and hazards.

• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centred care.
• Willingness to pursue continuous professional development and complete annual competency assessments.
• Adherence to privacy, infection‑control, and dress‑code policies.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS).
• Experience using the EuClid Clinical Information System.
• Knowledge of dialysis equipment operation and water‑treatment monitoring.
