Store Keeper

About the role

We are seeking an organized Store Keeper to manage all stock, oversee staff, and support promotional activities for our store. The role is pivotal in ensuring smooth inventory flow and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and store all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Process store requisitions, ensuring proper authorisation and accurate issuance.
• Manage the Material Management System (MMS) for invoicing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate with purchasing, vendors, and department heads to resolve delivery issues and optimise stock levels.
• Ensure storage areas are clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct periodic inventory audits and support the Accounts Payable team with cost discrepancy checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in retail management, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail or store management.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and stock‑taking procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory or Material Management Systems (e.g., MMS).
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
