Store Manager

About the role

foodpanda is seeking a self‑driven Store Manager to lead daily operations of a PandaMart store in Singapore. You will be responsible for establishing SOPs, coaching the warehouse team, and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and safe store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the store business plan to maximise sales and profit.
• Manage end‑to‑end inventory processes, from inbound receipt to order dispatch.
• Implement and refine company policies, procedures and guidelines for operational efficiency.
• Supervise staff, ensuring adherence to company strategies and HR compliance.
• Handle recruitment, training, counselling and performance appraisal of team members.
• Allocate manpower and schedule shifts to optimise productivity.
• Maintain safety standards and oversee Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance.
• Conduct regular stock‑takes and coordinate facility maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in warehouse or retail store management.
• Strong knowledge of operations and customer‑experience principles such as supply‑chain, JIT and Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with local legislation and performance/operation metrics.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Inventory Management Systems (IMS).
• Six Sigma methodology.
• Just‑In‑Time (JIT) inventory practices.
• Performance and operational metrics analysis.
