Strategic Procurement & Sourcing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, tender governance, and contract management across a diverse portfolio of operational services and projects. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to influence commercial decisions and optimise procurement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across multiple spend categories, including sourcing strategy, spend analysis and planning.
• Manage supplier relationships throughout the vendor lifecycle – sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, performance management and continuous improvement.
• Drive cost optimisation and value creation through strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, benchmarking and market analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop procurement solutions that balance cost, quality and operational needs.
• Run formal sourcing exercises (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tenders) with robust evaluation and governance.
• Lead contract negotiations and lifecycle management to ensure commercial value, risk mitigation and policy compliance.
• Analyse pricing models and total cost of ownership to support informed decisions.
• Monitor supplier performance against service levels and KPIs, addressing gaps proactively.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contracts or tender management.
• Strong experience managing sourcing exercises, commercial negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Familiarity with procurement governance, tender processes and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in service, project‑based, facilities, construction, engineering or healthcare procurement is highly regarded.
