Supply Chain Specialist – Sub‑Tier Management

About the role

KLA is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to address increasing supply chain complexity and sub‑tier dependencies within its semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The role focuses on debottlenecking critical suppliers, improving supply assurance during ramp‑up periods, and enabling faster issue resolution compared with traditional buyer structures.

Key responsibilities

• Track demand versus supply across critical sub‑tier suppliers and monitor purchase order placement and fulfillment status.
• Validate that sub‑tier suppliers have received orders, possess capacity, and can deliver on time.
• Develop visibility into multi‑tier supply chain constraints and risks.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks impacting key programs.
• Lead cross‑functional and supplier engagements to remove constraints and drive recovery plans.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex supplier and sub‑tier issues, coordinating follow‑ups until resolution.
• Work across divisions to align supply priorities, identify consolidation opportunities, and support shared supply chain capabilities.
• Support business ramp and demand surges by ensuring supply readiness and proactive risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sub‑tier supply chain management or related functions.
• Strong analytical skills to track demand‑supply dynamics and identify constraints.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex escalations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
