Tax Analyst – Singapore

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Tax Analyst (or Senior Tax Analyst) to support tax compliance and reporting for its Singapore entities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed information requests and data extraction for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) computation and return preparation.
• Prepare quarterly and annual US tax provision workings, including income, expense, and GL data extraction.
• File group GST returns for Singapore entities accurately and on time.
• Prepare and file Singapore withholding tax (WHT) returns.
• Compile information for Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD) and respond to related queries.
• Respond to IRAS tax queries and audits for CIT, GST, TP, and WHT.
• Support BEPS DTT/MTT registration, calculation, reporting, and submission.
• Assist with tax-related tasks for financial statements and tax notes.
