Tax Specialist

About the role

The company, a leading European manufacturing multinational, is seeking a Tax Specialist to support its Southeast Asia business. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance and providing advisory support within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual tax provisions and ensure timely filing in line with local regulations.
• Partner with the shared services team to manage tax compliance activities across the SEA region.
• Support tax planning and advisory projects that influence business decisions.
• Respond to queries from external tax agents and keep the business informed of legislative changes.
• Uphold best practices for governance, risk, and compliance in all tax matters.

Required profile

• University degree with hands‑on tax compliance experience.
• Experience in a corporate tax function or a Big 4 audit background with a tax specialization.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Singapore and SEA tax regulations.
• Proficiency in tax provisioning and filing processes.
