Team Manager, Transaction and Treasury Solutions, SME Banking

About the role

The Team Manager will lead a group of Relationship Managers delivering transaction and treasury solutions to SME clients with revenues up to US$100 million. The role combines portfolio development, people leadership and strategic execution to exceed quarterly sales targets and enhance client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and manage a team of 8‑10 Relationship Managers to achieve revenue, new‑to‑bank (NTB) acquisition and deposit growth targets.
• Oversee a portfolio of SME client relationships, ensuring cross‑selling of cash management, loans, trade, investment, insurance and hedging products.
• Collaborate with product specialists to deliver tailored corporate banking services.
• Monitor compliance, risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues promptly.
• Track performance against scorecards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in banking or financial services, preferably within SME or corporate segments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and acquisition targets.
• Deep understanding of SME banking products and the ability to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Excellent people development skills, capable of coaching and motivating high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cash management, loan, trade finance, investment, insurance and hedging solutions.
• Ability to analyse client needs and design needs‑based banking solutions.
• Strong risk awareness and compliance management.
