Technical Executive – Facilities Management

About the role

The Technical Executive will join Surbana Jurong’s Facilities Management team to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the company’s base and facilities. You will be responsible for delivering maintenance services that meet defined KPIs and SLA targets while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all facility maintenance activities, including building, mechanical, electrical, cleaning, horticultural and landscaping works.
• Coordinate work requests and issue work orders, consolidating relevant documentation for each task.
• Oversee strategic partners, sub‑contractors and technicians, conducting performance assessments, audits and inspections.
• Utilise the ITeFM computerized FM system for preventive and corrective maintenance, costing, certification of works and reporting.
• Prepare cost estimates using Fixed Schedule of Rates and quotations, and verify sub‑contractor costings.
• Conduct building inspections, audits and respond to emergency call‑outs after office hours.
• Ensure timely submission of preventive and corrective maintenance reports and maintain up‑to‑date data in the FM system.

Required profile

• Experience working within a facilities management or building maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to manage sub‑contractors and coordinate multi‑disciplinary maintenance works.
• Strong organisational skills to handle work orders, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to be on standby for emergency call‑outs outside regular office hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ITeFM (Facilities Management software) for work processing and reporting.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates and evaluate sub‑contractor quotations.
