Technical Sales Engineer – Flow Control Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive our flow‑control automation business across Southeast Asia. You will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach to build long‑term relationships and expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing client accounts (approximately 80% account management, 20% new business).
• Identify, negotiate and close new business opportunities within the region.
• Attend tender site visits, assess technical requirements and prepare customized proposals.
• Work closely with internal project and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Develop and execute launch plans for assigned product lines.
• Create technical content such as white papers, product briefs and presentations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers and internal staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development or applications engineering within Industrial IoT or control & automation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative selling style.
• Self‑driven, organized and able to manage multiple accounts and timelines.
• Willingness to travel regionally approximately once every 2‑3 months.
