Technician III – Repair & Maintenance Engineering

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to lead preventive maintenance activities for its facilities and equipment in Singapore. You will plan, design, and implement maintenance programs while collaborating closely with production teams and ensuring compliance with GxP regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and productivity.
• Coordinate maintenance engineering work and align repair activities with production schedules.
• Review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications for new equipment, focusing on reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new plant equipment.
• Make technical decisions within scope, applying advanced problem‑solving skills.
• Follow GxP SOPs, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure rigorous quality control.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
