Vice President – FX Options Trader (Asia, Singapore)

About the role

Join J.P. Morgan's Global FX Options team in Singapore as a Vice President FX Options Trader. You will provide liquidity, manage risk, and work closely with sales and client teams across Asia, contributing to the firm’s market‑making capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide liquidity to a diverse client franchise including hedge funds, banks, asset managers and corporates.
• Monitor and manage risk exposures using best‑in‑class risk disciplines.
• Develop, review and execute macro trading strategies in partnership with global FXO traders.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and deliver trade ideas and hedging solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior traders through active guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of FX options trading experience at an investment bank.
• Proven track record of successful market‑making and client engagement.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills for both horizontal and vertical interactions.
