Vice President, Legal

About the role

We are looking for a strategically‑minded Vice President of Legal to support the Head of Legal in managing our legal department while leading key portfolios. The role combines senior departmental leadership with hands‑on responsibility for cross‑border construction contracts, real‑estate transactions, and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Legal with day‑to‑day department management, budgeting, resource allocation and team mentoring.
• Develop and optimise internal legal policies, governance frameworks and contract‑management workflows.
• Draft, review and negotiate local and international construction and consultancy contracts, including FIDIC Green, Yellow and White books.
• Lead real‑estate acquisition, development, financing and asset‑management transactions, and support M&A, joint‑venture and fund‑structuring activities.
• Provide corporate secretarial and governance support across group entities.
• Oversee litigation, arbitration and multi‑jurisdictional dispute resolution under major institutional rules.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a senior legal role.
• Proven track record in local and international real‑estate acquisitions, developments and asset management.
• Experience navigating foreign jurisdictions, international contract frameworks and dispute resolution.
• Exposure to real‑estate financing, M&A or fund structuring is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC contract suites and other international standard forms.
• Strong expertise in cross‑border transaction drafting and negotiation.
• Solid background in real‑estate law, acquisition, development and asset management.
• Experience with arbitration and multi‑jurisdictional dispute resolution.
