Vice President, Marine

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to join our Marine team in Singapore, working hybrid with at least three days in the office. As Vice President, Marine you will act as a trusted advisor to shipowner clients across Asia, delivering tailored marine insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory relationships with shipowners of various sizes, including the largest fleets in Asia.
• Understand clients’ strategic priorities and risk management needs to provide appropriate advice.
• Review exposures, loss experience and develop standard and bespoke insurance solutions.
• Execute renewal and placement strategies in line with client instructions.
• Build and maintain day‑to‑day client relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Mentor and train junior team members.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• 8‑10 years of relevant insurance experience, preferably in marine hull and P&I.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent; ANZIIF or ACII is a plus.

Required skills

• Specialist knowledge of marine hull and protection & indemnity insurance.
• Strong risk expertise and understanding of the insurance market.
